Man has always been in search of the unanswerable, in search of his origins, in search of himself.

At one time, man was believed to have originated in Africa. The “out of Africa” theory was the brainchild of Professors Alan Wilson and Rebecca Cann. Of course, even back then, they realized that their theory was only a possibility, not a fact. Subsequently, their own DNA testing indicated that Homo sapiens first developed from the Australian aborigines about 400,000 years ago (with no genetic links to Africa).

Then, the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology made a genetic discovery also dating back to about 400,000 years ago. This find was made in Spain and also has no genetic link to Africa. However, it does have a genetic link to… Australia. So, the two oldest human DNA samples yet found were from Australia and Europe, with a genetic link to each other but with no link to Africa. This literally rewrites evolutionary history.

At a meeting of the Royal Society in London, these DNA finds, among others, were discussed by some of the brightest minds in the field of genetics. Researchers had previously identified three kinds of hominids who had interbred with each other in ancient times, namely Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, and Denisovans. The talk of the conference was a study done by the Harvard Medical School on a find from Siberia. The study found that the Denisovans had sex with an unknown group in Asia more than 30,000 years ago, a group which was neither human nor Neanderthal. Mark Thomas, an evolutionary geneticist at University College London, summed it up nicely as follows: “What it begins to suggest is that we’re looking at a Lord of the Rings-type world — that there were many hominid populations.”

Note: Of course, both the Bible and ancient Sumerian texts refer to humans having sex  with a non-human species so perhaps this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Some other interesting genetic findings are as follows:

  • Between 4000-6000 years ago, some extremely unusual DNA was first found in the people of Denmark. It’s referred to as “Haplogroup I1” and geneticists have no idea where it came from. It only appears in the Nordic races. No other group of people on the planet Earth have this DNA unless they have come in contact with Nordic people.
  • A recent story in the news concerned a young Caucasian girl who had her DNA tested and discovered that her ancestry hails from North Africa. That’s mind-blowing until one looks at the DNA testing involving North Africa. Turns out that North Africa’s gene pool is, in fact, Caucasian. Two Caucasian groups living in North Africa for at least two thousand years are the Tuaregs and the Berbers, both Caucasian people. This in turn might explain the next finding.
  • DNA testing on the Egyptian boy-pharaoh King Tut revealed that he is related to 70% of the men in England. In other words, he is Caucasian, albeit one with a severely elongated skull.
  • A study by the University of Cambridge found that the DNA of humans contains 145 ‘alien’ genes not passed on from our ancestors.

Note: Genetics aside, the different human skull types demonstrate that man evolved  from different gene pools.

However, some genetic studies have led to places that most would have never expected. For example, scientists working to map human DNA (as part of the Human Genome Project) concluded there are arithmetic patterns and symbolic language encoded within our DNA. They, therefore, believe that man’s “junk DNA” is the genetic code of extraterrestrial life forms. That theory might be referred to as Directed Panspermia. It was popularized by Francis Crick who won the Nobel Prize, along with James Watson, for their discovery of the structure of the DNA molecule. Even an ardent atheist like Richard Dawkins admitted, in an interview with Ben Stein, that man’s DNA has a designer and he mentioned extraterrestrial contact.

As for DNA itself, it has an exquisite language composed of 3 billion genetic letters. DNA is, in essence, an immensely complex instruction manual on how cells operate. As Bill Gates has himself said, DNA has an operating system that is far more advanced than any of our supercomputers. Therefore, you can only imagine the intelligence that was required to program it.

However, there is even more to the story of our origins. Oddly enough, some of us have Rh negative blood. Man alone has this trait, although Africans and Asians rarely have Rh negative blood. Some of us get diseases that the rest of us don’t (e.g. sickle cell) and we all don’t all share the same blood type or DNA haplogroup type. Obviously, there was more than one original gene pool. Obviously, we didn’t all come out of Africa.

Man is supposedly the most highly developed species on the planet. Surprisingly, however, we are ill-equipped for Earth’s environment. We come to this world with certain disadvantages that animals don’t have. For example, we can’t cope with sunlight, we have a strong dislike for certain natural foods, we have chronic back problems and we have very high rates of disease. These are things which should not happen if we evolved naturally on this planet. Man, in effect, is alien to this world.

The human race has been searching for answers for its existence from the beginning. Accordingly, man often posited that there was a creator of one sort or another. Some gave that creator the designation of God and recently some scientists have said that man’s creator was of extraterrestrial origin (aliens, in other words). The funny thing is that in our search for aliens, man just may have found himself as it seems that man, himself, is an alien.

In the view of cosmologist Max Tegmark, everything in the universe, including humans, is part of a mathematical structure. According to Tegmark, everything in nature is full of patterns such as the Fibonacci sequence, which is mathematically based. Tegmark contends, though, that math was not invented by man, but simply discovered by man. So, then, who did invent mathematics?

“The spiral in a snail’s shell is the same mathematically as the spiral in the Milky Way galaxy, and it’s also the same mathematically as the spirals in our DNA. It’s the same ratio that you’ll find in very basic music that transcends cultures all over the world.”           – Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The Chosen People

04/08/2018

Why were the Israelites the Chosen People? The real answer may surprise you.

Some Christians would say that God (Jehovah) chose the Israelites because he loved them more, and the Bible does actually say something to that effect. Some would say that there were other reasons, to be sure. However, here’s the real reason, according to the Bible itself, and I’m pretty sure that you will not hear this preached from the pulpit.

In Chapter 10 of Genesis, the Bible says that mankind was scattered across the globe after the Flood and separated into nations (from the families of the sons of Noah).  It’s sometimes referred to as the “Table of Nations”.  As for Yahweh, he was allotted Israel by the Most High (presumably God), as can be seen in Deuteronomy 32:8-9, as follows:

“When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s (Yahweh) portion is his people; Jacob (Israel) is the place of his inheritance.”

So the Israelites were in fact a Chosen People, chosen for Yahweh as opposed to having been chosen by Yahweh.

When Yahweh said that he would promise to be the god of the Israelites if they would promise that he (Yahweh) would be their only god, that was a mischaracterization of what actually happened. Yahweh/Jehovah had already been selected to be responsible for Israel. It had nothing to do with the covenant on behalf of the Israelites to accept Jehovah as their one and only god.

By the way, you either are God or you are not. If you are, then by definition you would be the god of everyone, including the Israelites. No covenant would ever be necessary.

Epilogue

The inconvenient truth is that Yahweh/Jehovah was not God (the Most High) who is mentioned in Deuteronomy 32. With that in mind, it now makes sense why the Creator was called “God” in Genesis 1 (from the Hebrew name Elohim) and why God was called “Lord God” in Genesis 2 (from the Hebrew names Jehovah and Elohim). That is, the God of Genesis 1 was the Prime Creator and the god of Genesis 2 was an altogether different entity, a lower god.

In the immortal words of Eddie Murphy, “Chosen One, my behind”, from the movie The Golden Child.

So, I just got back from sunrise Easter services and I’m reflecting back on what I was doing there.

Was it because I was celebrating the resurrection of Jesus? Well, no on two counts.  While as  Paul said that Jesus was resurrected in the spirit, he never said that he was resurrected in the body.  In fact, he said that it was impossible for the physical body to inherit the Kingdom of God. Secondly, Easter originally was the pagan festival celebrating the sun god (not son god).

So, Christianity is, in reality, a corruption of astral theology.  The pagan festival celebrating the sun god (later named Sol Invictus) was held on December 25th, followed by a festival on the spring equinox celebrating his resurrection. It was only later, we got Christmas and Easter.

“The pagan belief was that the sun died on the winter solstice (December 22nd) because on that day the sun reached its lowest point in the heavens. The sun was then considered to be “dead and buried” for three days because it stayed at this lowest point on the horizon during that time. When the sun once again made its way higher in the heavens on December 25th, it was said to have been born again (resurrected)”

“There were giants (nephilim) in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” – Genesis 6:4

The Bible says in various passages that giants existed upon the earth in olden times. The Jewish apocryphal work The Book of Giants, which was found at Qumran, has many details not found in the Bible with respect to those giants. For example, see the following link for a  picture of Nefertiti and her husband, the pharaoh Akhenaten, holding adult humans:

https://www.gettyimages.com/event/in-focus-tutankhamun-tomb-may-reveal-resting-place-of-queen-nefertiti-593962061

Those very same giant Egyptians visited the Grand Canyon in ancient times and left behind lots of artifacts. Places around the Grand Canyon even have Egyptian names. To see what  those Egyptians looked like check out a life-size statue at the Grand Canyon at the following link:

https://search.aol.com/aol/image?q=giant+statues+inside+Grand+Canyon&s_it=img-ans&v_t=comsearch#id=0&iurl=http%3A%2F%2Fasheepnomore.net%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2015%2F06%2Fgiants_under_grand_canyon.jpg&action=click

In recent times, they have found lots and lots of skeletons – all over the world. See the following link: http://www.ancientpages.com/2014/04/29/giants-did-exist-and-were-a-part-of-earths-ancient-history/ There are also artifacts from ancient Sumeria picturing the Sumerian gods next to humans. Same thing. They were giants too. And of course, then there was Goliath who was a little fella by comparison. That’s what you get when the gene pool gets watered down over many generations.

The tallest man, according to the Guinness Book of Records, was about nine feet tall and once lived in Illinois. Of course, they have only been keeping track for some 70 years or so. Whatever, I would have loved to have had a “big” brother that tall.

The eyes of that species of extinct Giant, whose bones fill the Mounds of America, have gazed on Niagara, as ours do now.

The End Times

11/02/2017

Most people, whether religious or not, probably have heard about what is referred to as the End Times.  What few realize, however, is that it should be more aptly called the End of Time.

The reason for this is that when the earth and its inhabitants transition through the End Times, the new reality will not include time. Also, many of the laws of physics will no longer apply. This is a natural occurrence which has been written about in the ancient Mayan and Hindu texts. Life will not end.  It just won’t be the same as it was before. That’s a good thing – believe me.

Everything is energy which is constantly vibrating. The earth, and everything in it and on it, is electro-magnetic energy, including air, water and all life forms.  The rate that this electro-magnetic field vibrates is generally referred to as the Schumann resonance, named after German physicist Winfried Otto Schumann.  In the future, we will simply vibrate faster.

However, what is one to make of Bible prophecy, then, with respect to the End Times?  Well, if  one were able to ask Christian theologian Albert Schweitzer, he would say that the Christian interpretation of the Bible is wrong! The reason is that, according to Schweitzer, the Bible actually states that the End Times would occur in the lifetime of the disciples, and not some 2,000 years later. He would also say that Jesus said that God would send someone who he (Jesus) referred to as the Son of Man to save mankind (rather than himself).

Of course, this may sound like blasphemy to some, but, if you like, you can read it in the Bible for yourself.

“Jesus of Nazareth was an apocalyptic prophet who anticipated the imminent end of the age and who warned his Jewish compatriots to repent in view of the cosmic crisis that was soon to come. God, Jesus proclaimed, would intervene in the course of history to overthrow the forces of evil, sending from heaven a divine-like figure called the Son of Man in a cataclysmic act of judgment.  This Son of Man would bring a new order to this world, a utopian kingdom to replace the evil empire that oppresses God’s people.   And this was to occur within Jesus’ generation.”

  – Bart Ehrman, biblical scholar and theologian

So, Christians believe that they are living in sin. Naturally, since, it’s part of Christian theology, which is supposedly based on the story of Adam and Eve. Too bad that the Bible is in disagreement.

According to the Bible, no less than Jesus and God made statements that they disagreed with the concept of Original Sin (see John 9:2-3 and Genesis 8:21, respectively). Of course, the whole issue is probably moot anyway because Judaism doesn’t believe in Original Sin and they wrote the Old Testament – it’s their bible. Enough said.

Heaven and hell is another misconstrued part of Christian theology. It’s somewhat true, although woefully incomplete. At the risk of oversimplifying, heaven is our natural state of existence (where we originally came from if you will) and hell…well hell is right here on Earth. The story of the Fall is loosely based on how man stepped down from a higher plane of existence into this material world.

Keep in mind, the “natural state” of existence is non-physical. That is, life is energy and energy is life and, of course, energy is non-physical. As Einstein put it, energy can neither be created or destroyed. However, it can change form. Thus, if you reduce the vibration rate of energy it will condense, eventually into matter. That’s how man went from Heaven to Hell.

So, if there was no Original Sin and we are already in Hell, why did Jesus come? The better question, however, is this, “If Jesus didn’t preach the concept of Original Sin, why does the Church believe in it?” The answer to that question is that it has to do with the basis of all religions. I call it the selling of salvation. In effect, religion is a barter. You put money into the church coffers and in return you are given the so-called keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. The bottom line is essentially this: If there is no Original Sin, there is no need for salvation and, therefore, no need for a messiah.

All religions are based on a common source of abstract beliefs in the Divine.  Jesus, like other prophets before and after him, taught these “truths” under a veil of allegory and symbolism (and parables in Jesus’ case). The disciples believed that Jesus was the messiah who was prophesied by Old Testament prophets who were expecting a real flesh-and-blood messiah (like King David) who would deliver them from their enemies and reestablish the Kingdom of Israel. Of course, it never happened.

Some two thousand years later, we’re still waiting for the Old Testament prophecies to come true. According to prophecy, all we need is a messiah named Immanuel; for the entire world to accept the Jewish god; and for all the Jews to return to their homeland. That last one is a bit problematic as the Jewish homeland, according to the Bible, is Judea and Samaria while the present day state of Israel for the most part does not encompass those territories.

If you believe in the Old Testament prophecies, it looks increasingly unlikely that a messiah will ever return. If one could ask twentieth century Christian theologian Albert Schweitzer, he’d no doubt say that Jesus should have returned in the lifetime of the disciples (if he was the messiah). At least, that was what he said in his book The Quest for the Historical Jesus.

…and that was not just his opinion, but rather what the Bible, itself, said.

“One of the problems is that the average Christian in the average church who listens to the average Christian broadcasting has such an oversimplified understanding of both the Bible and of church history – it would be deeply disturbing for them to really learn church history.” – Christian theologian Brian McLaren

Arab Israel

07/24/2017

Sounds funny, doesn’t it? Arab Israel. Isn’t Israel suppose to be the homeland of the Jews? What’s wrong with this picture?

The other day, terrorists at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem attacked and killed two Israeli policemen. What is not widely reported, though, is that the two Israeli policemen were actually Arabs, members of the Druze minority sect. Yes, Arab Israeli policemen.

People who have not visited Israel recently would never suspect that Israel has become such a boiling pot of diversity.  It’s one of the few  places in the world where diversity actually has had some success. Two of the largest groups of Israel citizens, about 20% of the population each, are Arabs and people of Russian ancestry. Those of Russian ancestry are generally not religious which means that nearly 40% of Israelis do not practice the Jewish faith (Judaism). In addition, there is a large group of secular (non-religious) Jews as well as atheists, Christians and a plethora of minor faiths such as Bahai. It’s fairly safe to say then that a majority of Israeli citizens do not practice the Jewish faith.

As for Israel being a Jewish homeland, that’s true but incomplete.  It is a homeland for Jews, but it isn’t the “homeland” of the Jews. The homeland of the Jewish people is actually the ancient kingdoms of Judea and Samaria which lie next door (immediately east of what is now Israel). Israel was formed by the United Nations out of a swamp-infested tract of land that ran along the Mediterranean plus the Negev Desert. It wasn’t much to write home about and it certainly wasn’t the historical Jewish homeland.

That true homeland of Judea and Samaria for the most part encompasses what is referred to as the West Bank (the lands lying immediately west of the Jordan River). For example, Bethlehem, Masada, Jericho, Qumran and Jerusalem were part of ancient Judea and Samaria. Of course, the West Bank was ceded by Jordan to Israel as the result of Jordan losing the Six-Day War in 1967 and have effectively been part of Israel ever since, a period of 50 years.  Does anyone really think that Israel will give up their homeland after having these lands for the last 50 years?

As for the Arabs who live in Israel and are citizens of Israel, with all the rights of Israeli citizens, they enjoy a better life than in any Arab nation in the Middle East.  Second place isn’t even close.  Arab women, especially, have freedom in Israel that is unparalleled throughout the Middle East. I recently met an Arab waiter in Israel who was moonlighting from his day job as a school teacher to pay for his daughter to go to medical school. Education for an Arab woman! Are you kidding, and a doctor to boot.

Arab Israel isn’t what you think it is nor as it has been portrayed by the media. Some Arabs are Israeli policemen who sometimes die for their “country.” They are represented in the Israeli Knesset (Congress/Parliament) and an Arab sits on the Israeli Supreme Court. Maybe, the world should take notice of the Arab Israeli dynamic.  They just might learn something from it.

The complete history of the Caucasian race has yet to be written. If some people have their way, it never will be.

Recent scientific studies on genetics and language indicate that the Caucasian race can be traced back to the vicinity of Anatolia (modern-day Turkey) some 6,000 -10,000 years ago. So too, other studies show that blue-eyed people, as well as blond hair I might add, also arose in the same general area and timeframe. To name a few, ancient Caucasians include Yazidis, Aryans and certain Egyptian pharaohs.

Of course, no one has ever ventured back beyond the 6,000-year threshold; back to the true origins of the Caucasian race. There are only a few options for where they came from, as follows:

  • Caucasians came from the stars (in other words, they are extraterrestrials).
  • Caucasians were genetically created by extraterrestrials. Nobel Prize winner Francis Crick could certainly agree with that, as is outlined in the Directed Panspermia Theory.
  • Caucasians came from a much older civilization (say, Atlantis).

The bottom line is this. Caucasians didn’t just materialize out of thin air. It’s what I call a “poof” moment. Supposedly, we all came out of Africa with black hair, black skin, dark eyes and a distinctively African skull. Then, poof, overnight in evolutionary terms, we got very large numbers of people with light-colored skin, hair and eyes and a Nordic skull to boot.

Perhaps, the reason that there is very little discussion of the above alternatives is that it they are considered politically incorrect. Maybe, we are not supposed to know man’s true origins. Maybe, Jean-Jacques Rousseau was right, then, when he said that, “The falsification of history has done more to mislead humans than any single thing known to mankind.” Maybe, the world would be a better place, though, if we actually knew the truth. Maybe the Yazidis already know.

“History is a pack of lies we play on the dead.”

     – Voltaire

I read a post the other day where a reader commented that one should follow God’s will. That comment immediately raised a couple of questions, at least for me. First off, how do we know that God has a will? At first blush, maybe that seems like a pretty innocuous question. However, how does anyone really know? After all, The Pascal Wager states that, “If there is a God, He is infinitely incomprehensible” (i.e. the finite cannot conceive of the Infinite).

That, of course, begs the second question. That is, what kind of a life form might God be? However, we first probably need to define “will,” as in God’s will. The Free Dictionary says that will is “The mental faculty by which one deliberately chooses or decides upon a course of action.” In that case, I suppose, God has to be considered to be some sort of a physical life form. The Bible confirms this as it says that God was a man, specifically referring to God as Him.

Aside: Of course if God was a man, then who created God?

Now, I know that some people would say that God does not have to be a Him; that God could be a She or even an It. Fair enough. However, consider this. Some researchers/historians, myself included, believe that the Genesis story (in particular the Creation and Flood stories) was borrowed from older Sumerian writings.

Aside: That was only natural, in a way, since the Israelites actually were descendants of the Sumerians through Abraham.

In the ancient Sumerian writings, God (or more accurately the gods) is referred to as Him because he actually is a man – a real flesh and blood man. This is why the Bible says that man (Adam) was created in God’s image, (i.e. the image of a male, human being).

Aside: That is, man and God have nearly identical DNA.

Naturally, all of this raises more questions than it answers. For example, is God the Prime Creator? Well, certainly, the god of Genesis was the creator of man, at least the modern-day version of Homo sapiens. As for being the creator, the Bible actually says that God is not the Prime Creator. In Deuteronomy 32:8-9, it states, “When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s (Yahweh) portion is his people; Jacob (Israel) is the lot of his inheritance.” This shows that Yahweh was, at best, a lower god since Yahweh was subordinate to the Most High. Further, in John 1:18, John says that ““No one has ever seen God.” Of course, John was speaking about the spirit form of God, so the physical god of Genesis could not be God, according to John.

Back to the issue of God’s will. If God was an intelligent life form with a physical body, by definition he would almost certainly have a will. God then might impose his will on man, if he so chose, similar to what happened in so many of the biblical stories. The problem is that the so-called god of Genesis is not God, as in the Prime Creator. In that case, why worry about god’s will at all? Indeed, why even worship Yahweh?

…Or perhaps, the “god concept” is really just a distraction to keep us from connecting with our real Creator.

Epilogue

As Yahweh told man, you shall have no other gods before you. Hopefully, you can now see how that Bible verse makes some sense. That is, there were many Yahweh-type entities running around in ancient times. Yahweh was simply one of many (see Deuteronomy 32:8-9 above). In fact, the Israelites were polytheistic for thousands of years, even after Moses. Yahweh was an important god but the goddess Asherah was just as important, perhaps even more so. However, with the introduction of monotheism, the Israelites were told to have no other gods before them – and certainly not the gods of the Sumerians, the gods of Abraham.

The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”  – Carl Sagan

P.S. Of course, “the universe” Sagan mentions is not a life form (i.e. it cannot know itself). When reading his quote, therefore, you need to replace the word “universe” with the word “Creator”.

Science says that man evolves by natural selection, although it’s never been shown exactly how that works. Along comes molecular evolutionary biologist Masatoshi Nei who says that mutation, not natural selection, drives evolution. Whether its natural selection or mutation, or a combination of both (or neither), it has never been enough to sustain a species since 99% of all species that ever lived, including every one of man’s hominid ancestors, have become extinct. As the fossil record demonstrates, extinction is a perfectly natural response to changing environmental conditions. So, is man next?

We have been taught to believe that man is constantly, yet ever so slowly, evolving in an upward direction over thousands, if not millions of years. At least, that’s what we have been taught to believe.  At the end of the last ice age, man was barely eking out an existence, all the while living in caves. Suddenly, in the 4th millennia B.C., man overnight (in evolutionary terms) started doing miraculous things, like building fantastic pyramids. This process occurred supposedly over a period of two thousand years, give or take. Again, that’s what we’ve been taught.

There is a certain amount known about the two great civilizations that developed after the last ice age – ancient Egypt and Sumer (Mesopotamia).  Strangely enough, though, both of those civilizations arose abruptly and disappeared almost as abruptly.  So, the question is this: Where did the knowledge and advanced technology come from to build these civilizations and why did their knowledge simply vanish? Great pyramids were built in China, Egypt, Eastern Europe, South and Central America, among other places. The thing is: Has anyone built a great pyramid lately? Why not? From the end of the Indus Valley civilization in 1300 B.C. to the nineteenth century, a period of over 3,000 years, man actually accomplished precious little.  Having built the pyramids, among other great archaeological works, man was still  driving around in a horse and buggy (chariots having been first invented around 2500 B.C.).  That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Here’s how it’s possible, though. You see, underwater ruins from around the world are an indication that an advanced civilization existed on this planet prior to the end of the last ice age. The rise in the world’s oceans that accompanied the end of that ice age, sent monolithic structures, and even whole cities, to the bottom of the sea where they remain today. The world is just now rediscovering such sites – from India to the Black Sea to the North Sea to the Caribbean to the South Pacific, among others. This radically changes the evolutionary timeline for modern man, pushing it back by thousands of years, assuming, that is, that modern man even built these sites. Perhaps, there were even two different civilizations living side-by-side with one another.  After all, a recent genetic study shows that in ancient times modern man had sex with an unknown species.

Unbeknownst to many, de-evolution has already been observed in nature. For example, recent genetic research has shown that the worm has evolved to be less sophisticated than its ancestors. The implications of this discovery are quite profound in that it shows that a species can de-evolve to a more primitive form. That really shouldn’t come as a big surprise because man used to have a much bigger brain as revealed by scientists’ discovery of the remains of a 28,000 year-old Cro-Magnon man.  Further, the results from recent scientific studies show a decline in man’s intelligence. Exactly in what direction, then, is the species really headed? It might just be possible that man has actually been de-evolving.

Epilogue

Some geneticists claim that man’s DNA is currently in the process of evolving from a 2-strand double helix to a 12-strand helix. So, possibly we could see yet another dramatic spike in evolution, not unlike the Cambrian Explosion which was biology’s equivalent of the Big Bang whereby a vast number of life forms came into existence in a blink of an eye, so to speak.  Either way, de-evolution or evolutionary spikes, evolutionary theory will need a major rewrite.

“Trying to read our DNA is like trying to understand software code – with only 90% of the code riddled with errors. It’s very difficult in that case to understand and predict what that software code is going to do.”
– Elon Musk
