Everybody has the same question these days. Why? Well, why not? After all, all it takes for a revolution is for someone to want to grab power.

The New American Revolution actually has its roots in the old one. That is, the colonists revolted and in the process threw off the yolk of the King of England. Ever since that day, the ruling elite have tried to retake power. As Benjamin Franklin warned the colonists, you have a Republic if you can keep it.

Then, the King Of England sided with the South resulting in the Civil War… which would bankrupt the nation…which would lead to the Act of 1871… which would bring the nation the Federal Reserve… who would intentionally cause the Great Depression.  The nation then survived a coup attempt followed by three world conflicts before the ruling elite finally got smart. They opted to try and control America by subverting it from within. Welcome to the New American Revolution.

This revolution is a war with no bullets. By that I mean that “…the weapons are unconventional. Disinformation is frequently the weapon of choice. The six-o-clock news helps to determine what people hear and, therefore, what they believe.  Public opinion polls don’t so much report on the mood of the public as they are used to sway public opinion (TheEthicalWarrior, A War With No Bullets).

Today’s events can be traced back some sixty years to the University of Chicago. I should know as I was there. That’s when the radical left-wing group called the Weather Underground was formed. When that failed, the movement began infiltrating American universities with their Marxist ideology. Go on most any campus of an American university today and you will be shocked to see the environment there. They are incubators for the revolution.

Today, the revolution has morphed into groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter. These groups are supported by some of the richest people and corporations in the country. Nothing has changed all that much since the days of the Weather Underground, except that now radicalism has gone mainstream. As John Daniel Davidson said, “Calls to defund or abolish the police are not about restoring an open and liberal society, they are about tearing it down and seizing power.”

Getting freedom is actually the easy part; keeping it, as Benjamin Franklin alluded to, is another matter altogether.

Recently, I wrote an article entitled Opposing Visions of America.  I’ve had a number of questions about what my own vision is.  It’s really quite simple.

My vision of America is simply all about personal freedoms. I’m not for or against Biden or Trump, Democrats or Republicans, per se. In fact, I have never been politically active my whole life until now. For example, my blogs (back then) were rarely about politics.

So, what’s changed? In a nutshell, the Democratic Party has changed. Once the so-called champion of the little guy, it has morphed into something that more closely approximates Marxist philosophy. They support all sorts of authoritarian measures including Covid19 lockdowns, the Cancel Culture, with its restrictions on free speech, and are opposed to the freedom to bear arms. They often openly support radical anti-American groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matters. They have championed for a “fundamental transformation” of America.  Some of those changes are even included in the DNC 2020 platform.

While the old America was far from perfect, the new transformed America that they envision resembles Nazi Germany more than it does the current Republic. In their vision of America, absolute power is vested in the State. Citizens will no longer have inalienable rights. The government will control and own everything. They will say where you can live, where you can work…and even if you can live.

Life is about choices and the 2020 election is a choice, perhaps even a choice between the lesser of two evils. However, it’s still a choice…and above all else, I choose freedom.

Myths and Ideas

When is a myth and an idea the same thing? When Joe Biden and Jerry Nadler say so. I’m talking about Antifa which Jerry Nadler says is a myth and Joe Biden says is just an idea. Look, it’s really very simple.  If Antifa doesn’t exist, Joe and Jerry should have no problem saying that they don’t support them. Yet, they won’t say the magic words.

The reason that they don’t is also quite simple. They actually support Antifa. Ergo, they support the riots. Ergo, they want to burn it all down, just as Black Lives Matters has said that they want to do.

There has been so much controversy and push back as to which lives matter and which ones don’t. For example, some people complain about signs that say Blue Lives Matter or All Lives Matter.  Why? How can you not be for human life, period. What, only black lives matter?

The problem with the term “black lives matters” is that it is typically promulgated by rich, white kids. Even if it were a rallying cry for the black community, why would they be burning down their own communities? If you really wanted to protest against the system, you should attack the system.  It’s not my choice to be sure, but it’s the logical thing to do. They should be attacking banks, Congress, Big Tech firms and Wall Street. Instead, the riots usually attack defenseless black communities.

Rather than protect the very communities that they were elected to protect, what we get is politicians who allow the rioting by telling the police to stand down. What we get is politicians who pass legislation to defund the police. What we get is donations to a supposedly non-existent organization (Antifa) being sent to support the presidential campaign of the very candidate who says that they don’t exist.

The news headlines is all about the out-of-control fires that are raging on the West Coast. That brings to mind that the fires, riots and lockdowns have one thing in common.  They almost always occur in Democratic-run states. We’re talking primarily about Washington, Oregon, California, Illinois, Minnesota and New York.

Some of these are also states where cities have defunded the police. As Ilhan Omar says, “You can’t vote Democratic if you support police.” I assume what she means by that is that the Democratic Party, at least the one that she envisions, will not support the police.

I wonder how Omar expects that the laws that she will inevitably try to pass will be enforced? The Somali Civil War might offer a clue as to what would happen if Omar gets her way. In that case, BLM and Antifa might become the new brownshirts.

 

Epilogue

Migration out of cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Minneapolis, Portland and Chicago is accelerating.  Those that are moving can already read the tea leaves as these cities will all look like Baltimore in the not too distant future.

This is disturbing. The world is literally going insane.

Sex trafficking, perversion and abuse

  • Four Atlanta hotels recently were charged with federal sex trafficking.
  • Actress Blake Lively has gone public discussing the horrific trend of raping and killing newborn babies.
  • Congressional lawmakers are calling on the DOJ to investigate Netflix for distributing child porn because of the release of the film Cuties.
  • California Governor Gavin Newsome signed into law a reduction in the penalties for adults having sex with “willing” same-sex minors.

 Violence and disrespect for the law

  • University of Rhode Island Professor Erik Loomis comment on the execution of a person on the streets of Portland by an Antifa rioter, “He killed a fascist. I see nothing wrong with it.”
  • BLM chant at the hospital where a critically-wounded police officer was being treated: “We hope the b*tch dies.”

 Politics

  •  Ilhan Omar says Joe Biden “is going to be responsive to the policy positions we are advocating for” (like abolishing the police).

Ilhan Omar also commented on the shooting of two police officers in Compton, Ca. by saying “You can’t vote Democratic if you support police.” Unfortunately for Omar, the opposite will also be true. That is, people who support the police will not vote Democratic.

 

 

The Antifa Myth

They’re either 1) modern-day versions of the WWII Normandy beach heroes and saving America from alt-right racists, 2) a fringe group joining up with white supremacist agitators to disrupt peaceful protests in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd, or 3) they … simply don’t exist.” –  Sister Toldjah, journalist

 

Antifa is a myth… Jerry Nadler told us as much. Of course very few believed him, not even Wikipedia. Antifa itself claims to be anti-fascist because their roots supposedly go back to the leftist groups that opposed Nazi Germany. The reality on the ground in places like Berkeley, Minneapolis and Portland, however, is totally different. People are waking up to the death and destruction brought in the name of so-called social justice. As Sean Ono Lennon said, “I’m unsure how this ‘fight racism with racism’ and ‘fight fascism with fascism’ strategy is supposed to succeed in anything but destruction and chaos.”

So, what’s happened to our younger generation who has become so obsessed with the Cancel Culture? What makes them so violent? Why is it okay to murder another human being because they are a Fascist?

What do Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, Washington DC, Kenosha and New York City have in common? Answer: they are the cities that have had the worst riots. They also all have a Democratic governor and a Democratic mayor. Well, DC doesn’t exactly have a governor since it’s not a state.

Eight cities… all Democratic controlled…looks like a pattern, right?  Maybe, it has something to do with the fact that the rioters knew that they would probably not be arrested if they burned and looted those cities; and/or, maybe, it’s that the party wanted an excuse to defund the police. Whatever it was, it can’t be good.

Of course, it was the very same Democratic Party that considered the riots to be “peaceful protests” and who, to this day, refuse to disavow the rioters (BLM and Antifa). Portland is going on 100 days of rioting and the rioters even attacked the mayor’s place of residence, yet still no response from mayor Ted Wheeler (other than moving out).

None of the mayors want help from the Feds.  Not one of them. Why? Well, they must have wanted to let their cities get torched, right? It’s hard to ascribe some kind of rational thought process to this matter, but I believe there is one.  However, you probably won’t want to hear it.

Needless to say, America is under siege. This is not likely to get any better and more than likely will get worse, even much worse. After all, protests eventually burn themselves out… but revolutions do not.

Going Full Goebbels

I wasn’t about to write yet another post about the insanity of the riots.  However, Selwyn Duke of the New American wrote one for me.

 

Excerpts from Duke’s article

“Call it going full Goebbels. It’s interesting, however, to ponder how someone gets to the point where no lie is too big and too bold to be told…But the Democrats are there. For months they provided shameless moral support for the BLM/Antifa rioters and looters ravaging our cities – portraying them as ‘mostly peaceful.’”

“House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler called antifa violence in Portland a ‘myth’ when approached about the subject in June. Mayor Muriel Bowser bragged in her Democratic National Convention speech about creating ‘Black Lives Matter Plaza’ in Washington, DC for the protesters, but did not mention some of those protesters torched the historic St John’s church outside of the White House. Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan described her city’s ‘autonomous zone’, which was forcibly taken over by armed protesters and where a black teenager would later be shot dead, as a ‘block party atmosphere’. Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to the toppling of a statue of Christopher Columbus by giving a wave of her hand: ‘people will do what they do’. Rep. Ayanna Pressley went several steps further than her peers, encouraging ‘unrest in the streets’ during an MSNBC interview in August.”

“But then the polls flipped, and so did the narrative. Just consider far-left CNN host Don Lemon, who’d supported the protests even complaining that the Hollywood pseudo-elites weren’t doing enough to support them. Turning on a dime, he said on August 25 that the ‘rioting has to stop. It’s ‘showing up in the polling. It’s showing up in focus groups.’”

 

A summer of love

Well, it hasn’t exactly been a “summer of love” as Jenny Durkan predicted. The voting public has spoken even before the election. They don’t want any more violence. So, the narrative has flipped completely. It’s actually a complete u-turn – from supporting the “protests” to being against the violence (supposedly). The problem is that the mayors of cities like Minneapolis, Kenosha and Portland are doing nothing to prevent further riots. They’ve even told the feds to stay home as they don’t need their help. It doesn’t exactly sound like someone against the violence, does it?

 

Lemon for president?

Don Lemon has shown what a complete farce the MSM is. Think of it. He said that the riots needed to stop because the Dems were being hurt in the polls. So, exactly who does Lemon work for, anyway?

The bigger question may be this: Will the Big Lie work? Maybe, Goebbels was right after all.

 

Epilogue

So, Nancy Pelosi got a bee in her bonnet after she got caught breaking the California safety protocols on Covid19. Right out of the Goebbels’ playbook, Nancy is claiming that she was set up and is demanding an apology from the hair salon owner. While I give Nancy an “A” for chutzpah, she really needs to be more respectful of the little people. The rules apply to everybody – or do they?

 

 

 

 

 

Death To America

It’s pretty much out in the open now.  Death to America.  Black Live Matters/Antifa activists have made that quite clear.

Chicago has been warned

BLM: “We have demands and they need to be met … we’re not asking you anything. We’re telling you what’s about to happen with your permission or not. … You can listen to us or you can get ran over.”

Portland has been warned

#PortlandRiots: “Antifa showing the public a visual representation of their political agenda.  They put U.S. flags on the guillotine prop and set all of it in fire outside the SE police building.”

The Democrats have been warned

Actress Rose McGowan accused the Democrats of being the very people that the #MeToo movement was designed to stop (that is, the Harvey Weinstein crowd). Rose pulled no punches saying, “What have the Democrats done to solve ANYTHING? Help the poor? No. Help black & brown people? No. Stop police brutality? No. Help single mothers? No. Help children? No.”

The DNC was called out by woke Hollywood

Far-left liberal actor John Cusack called the DNC a “shitty celebrity-filled reality tv convention… It’s all showbiz – all the time. RIP America.”

 

Cusack got it spot on. RIP America.  Whatever you think America used to be, it isn’t anymore. If you don’t understand what this means, just wait…the riots may be coming to a neighborhood near you very soon.

 

“With businesses financially hurting from the government-mandated shutdowns, exacerbated by the rioting that will keep retail business closed longer or completely drive them out of business, cities will see a substantial shortfall of tax revenue. With less money coming into the coffers, the cities will be forced to layoff police officers, firemen and teachers. This will further degrade the lives of people living there.

Taxes will be raised significantly on its already-overburdened residents to compensate for the loss of business taxes. With higher personal taxes, expensive apartments, the lack of safety and the fear of a resurgence of Covid-19, people will flee the cities to locations deemed more secure with a better quality of life. Those who are left behind will find themselves living in grimy, crime-infested places, plagued with virus outbreaks and violence.

This will push even more people to leave, creating a downward spiral for the viability and habitation of the cities and increase the populations of states that offer a higher quality of life.” – Jack Kelley, Forbes Magazine

 

 

I’ve heard a number of people on both sides of the aisle say that the DNC didn’t lay out the party’s goals and objectives at the convention. I beg to differ.  That is, it’s not what politicians say that’s important, it’s what they don’t say that you need to pay attention to. So, while you didn’t hear much of anyone espouse an economic plan, a foreign policy or a position on important election issues, there was plenty to take away from the proceedings.

 

Takeaway #1: The most important aspect of the DNC is who was widely criticized. Hands down, the Orange Man Bad was the winner here. So, I think that it’s safe to say that whatever Trump is for, the Democrats oppose and vice versa, as follows:

  • Trump is building a border wall. Therefore, Dems are for open borders and plenty of immigration. No doubt, then, they’re also for government payments to illegal aliens.
  • Trump is against globalism. Therefore, Dems are for shipping jobs overseas, probably to China (Trump’s public enemy #1).

Takeaway#2: Here’s what they didn’t say that some might have been hoping that they would comment on:

  • There was no speech about ending the violence in the streets of America and there was no condemnation of Antifa which was has been designated as a terrorist organization. At the virtual conferences being held at the convention, there was actually support for Black Lives Matters who has also been responsible for much of the violence.
  • There was no support for law enforcement. Particularly, there was no comment on local Democratic Party government officials in cities like Seattle, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and New York City who are defunding the police in their cities.

Therefore, you can safely assume that the party at least tolerates, if not flat-out endorses, such activity.

Takeaway#3: Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard was not invited to the DNC, in any role.

So, what I call the Tulsi Gabbard Effect strikes again.  That is, the only Democratic presidential candidate who is against “endless wars” is considered a pariah in her own party because the party and all of the other presidential candidates maintain the “company line” of supporting American imperialism abroad. Based on public comments, they specifically object to troop withdrawals from Syria and Afghanistan.

In politics, silence is golden except when it highlights the very thing that you are hoping that people won’t focus on.  Such was the “success” of the DNC.
