The Vanishing Democracy

I know that you think that we live in a democracy.  Unfortunately, you’d be wrong. The Hunter Biden laptop does not exist!

The laptop doesn’t “exist” simply because the media says that it doesn’t exist. The MSM is denying the story, or outright ignoring it, and social media is censoring the story. How’s that for freedom of the press?

The Biden laptop is an important story but the media’s handling of it is actually the bigger story. What the Hunter Biden laptop story really tells you is who runs the world. When a small group of people, like the global ruling elite, can dictate their wishes onto a compliant media, what you get is totalitarianism. It’s not a democracy regardless of what you might think and regardless of what you’ve been told. After all, who do you think owns the media?

The Hunter Biden laptop issue is really only the tip of the iceberg.  That is, what happens when the MSM undermines what the government is doing and what happens when social media is allowed to censor the government? George Orwell, if he were alive, would feel completely vindicated.

Orwellian Doublethink

More and more, every day, up is down and down is up. Now, right is wrong and wrong is right. Pretty confusing wouldn’t you say?

Our reality is so distorted that it is difficult for the mind to wrap itself around the world presented to it. The government lies about anything and everything and the media reinforces the lies. Historians write about the past but much of it is a fiction since the victors are the ones responsible for the history books.

As for science, the scientists realize that we live in a shadow world. As astrophysicist Arthur Eddington put it, “In the world of physics…the shadow of my elbow rests on the shadow table as the shadow ink flows over the shadow paper…the frank realization that physical science is concerned with a world of shadow…” Why are we unaware of the shadow world? The main things to understand in that regard are the following: (1) Our physical senses have a very limited range of perception. In effect, we live inside a bubble limited by what our physical senses can actually perceive; (2) The mind cannot distinguish between what is real and what is vividly imagined. For all we know, dreams are real and life is a dream; and (3) The decisions that we make are made mostly by the subconscious mind, without our knowing that was even the case. The subconscious mind runs our lives and the conscious mind scurries about trying to make sense of it.

Orwellian doublethink pervades the shadow world. For example, politicians use terms that are pleasing for the voters to hear, not unlike motherhood and apple pie, but in reality these expressions mean something totally different, something that the voters would never vote for at all. George Orwell called this doublethink. It occurs when someone accepts two mutually contradictory thoughts as correct without ever being aware that there was even a contradiction in terms. For Orwell then, “war is peace and freedom is slavery.” The establishment uses doublethink themselves to deceive the public. Case in point is the politicians trying to convince us that you have to engage in endless wars to ensure peace.

Orwell warned us about the shadow world and the elites controlling it. He said that the elites “…learnt how to keep their position permanently – by cultivating ignorance among the other classes and by constantly surveying them through the Thought Police. Part of this strategy included the maintenance of a state of continual warfare…to keep a state of emergency always present as the surest guarantee of authoritarianism.” The objective of the civil war raging in the country is a police state. Orwell saw it coming and wrote about it in !984.

 

Epilogue

You may think that you’ve heard it all, but what if I told you that in the shadow world a city can actually be a State and what you think is a country might really be a corporation. Doublethink that!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Revolution In America

 

As the Democratic Party moves far-left and embraces Antifa and BLM, it leaves moderate Democrats and even some liberals out in the proverbial cold. The rift in the party was apparent during the vote on impeachment back in January when Tulsi Gabbard and three other congressmen bucked the party-line vote to impeach Trump.

Tulsi Gabbard is a contender for the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in 2020.  Gabbard is against what she calls “endless wars” and America’s military involvement around the world, all of which has drawn the wrath of much of her party. This is what I refer to as the Tulsi Gabbard Effect. That is, a politician is attacked by their very own party for taking a political position that the party used to embrace.

However, the feud between Gabbard and the Democratic Party is only symptomatic of a deeper issue. In the past couple of years, the Democratic Party has suddenly changed its platform on everything from our economic system to wars to defunding the police.  I picked out these three issues, among many, because all three would have lasting effects that would impact the lives of our children (and their children).

The support for defunding the police is part of a drive to change the vey fabric of our society and our culture. The term that they use for this is to “fundamentally transform” America.  Anytime someone uses the term “fundamentally transform,” they are referring to switching from capitalism to socialism where the government controls the means of production and where free markets cease to exist. The switch to socialism would also involve scrapping the Constitution, or at the very least the 1^st and 2^nd Amendments.

So, when they say “fundamentally transform,” what they are truly talking about is revolution.

So, when you see the riots on TV what you are looking at is civil war.

So, when anyone asks you to “take a knee,” they have just involved you in that war.

 

This is 2020 and yet it is 1984, right out of George Orwell’s book.

The WHO Recants But States Turn A Deaf Ear

The WHO has changed its mind about COVID19. Now, they are saying that the lockdowns weren’t necessary after all. They point to Sweden as being the model for how to respond to the coronavirus (i.e. Sweden had no lockdown). Further, recent studies show that the mortality rate is no worse than the flu. Yet, most states have yet to reopen. One obviously has to ask the question why.

For example in Europe, this flu season has actually been milder than some recent previous years, despite COVID19. Hospitals are far from overcrowded and the healthcare system is operating just fine. Yet, they’re on lockdown (still).

For sure if they relax the restrictions, the infection rate will go up. The real question is, though, when does it have to be high enough for a country to commit national economic suicide. Do you know how many people die when you lockdown a country? Was this even a consideration before everyone panicked and overreacted?

For example, did we lockdown everyone when the Asian flu swept the world in 1957? No. How about the Hong Kong Flu in 1968? No. Then, how about H1N1 in 2009? Also, no. Yet, they were all more severe than COVID19. By now, you should be seeing the point. None of this was necessary, and the WHO knew it all along. They caused the panic and now they are trying to back away before they get sued (or shut down), just like what’s happening to China. The name of the game is lie, try to cover it up and then…it’s mea culpa time.

The bottom line is this: If it wasn’t ever necessary to lockdown our nation, why aren’t we just reopening ASAP? You may not like the answer that I’m about to give you but here it is.  Reopening is strictly a political issue, it’s not really about your health. The states that will resist reopening the longest will be states with socialist governments (states like California, Illinois, Michigan, New York and Virginia). For them, you never let a good crisis go to waste, just like Rahm Emanuel said. For them, this crisis was a good time to impose authoritarian controls that they may not even do away with after COVID19 is gone. For them, this is nirvana and they just can’t wait until COVID19 returns which it invariably will.

Even after COVID19 has come and gone, your life may never be the same. Your future may well include mandatory vaccinations, universal basic income and a surveillance state. George Orwell was right except it wasn’t 1984, it’s 2020 (and beyond).

 

Epilogue

Based on a new study, countries like Switzerland and Holland are now sending their kids back to school. Turns out that school-age kids are highly unlikely to get COVID19 and just as unlikely to pass it to someone else.

From Michael Bloomberg to George Orwell

I love political satire and here’s excerpts from one of the best that I’ve seen recently which comes courtesy of renown political satirist CJ Hopkins @unz.com.  Hopkins’ article is just one of the many reactions to the recent entrance of Michael Bloomberg into the 2020 presidential race:

“…Michael Bloomberg, multi-billionaire Republicrat oligarch, has mobilized a guerilla army of overpaid PR professionals, Wall Street sociopaths, liberal racists, and anti-outdoor-smoking fanatics, and is steamrolling toward the Democratic convention to buy a brokered nomination and save America from ‘Putinism.’”

“Another Obama is not going to cut it … people aren’t buying that con anymore. No, if the empire is going to reestablish control, it is going to need to take its liberal mask off, and shove a blatant corporatist oligarch like Bloomberg down the public’s throat in order to remind everyone who’s boss. It may not be Michael Bloomberg this time, but it is going to be someone like Bloomberg eventually. Someone powerful, and extremely unpleasant, who will be sold to us as the only one who can save the world from the ‘Nazis’ and the ‘Russians’ … which will necessitate taking some very extreme measures, like the ones we took during the War on Terror.”

Hopkins’ article brings back memories of some of the great political humor that used to be the staple of SNL until they degenerated into the abyss of propaganda that passes as humor these days. The one thing that that he didn’t mention, however, is that Bloomberg knows that he has no chance of winning. The brokered convention he refers to, as well as Michael Bloomberg’s delegates, is in reality for Hillary. 

The interesting thing about American politics these days is that everyone seems to know what’s going on except the American public.  The foreign press knows, those inside The Beltway know, the 2020 candidates for president know, and yet as James Howard Kuntsler so succinctly put it, “…Americans have done a crackerjack job of mind-fucking themselves with disinformation the past several years, coincidentally via this very The New York Times….” Welcome to the world of Machiavellian politics. George Orwell would have been proud.

Speaking about George Orwell, he once explained how the elites maintain control over the masses. He said that they “…learnt how to keep their position permanently – by cultivating ignorance among the other classes and by constantly surveying them through the Thought Police. Part of this strategy included the maintenance of a state of continual warfare…to keep a state of emergency always present as the surest guarantee of authoritarianism.” Yes, a state of perpetual warfare, and now you know why they hate Tulsi Gabbard.

George Orwell And Climate Change Hysteria

 

The planet just came out of a mini ice age in the 19^thcentury so of course temperatures have gone up. Obviously, they couldn’t have gone much lower. Thank goodness that temperatures did go up or we would still be stuck in a mini ice age and holding frost fairs on the Thames River.

Nevertheless, the climate change hysteria continues to ratchet up. Recently, though, a number of people have been undercutting the global warming hypothesis. Here’s a short list:

 

The politics of global warming

• Saikat Chakrabarti, AOC’s former Chief of Staff and one of the authors of the Green New Deal, disclosed that the Green New Deal is a change-the-economy-thing. In an interview with the Washington Post, he said, “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all… we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” Comment:  So, it’s not really about the climate. Are you listening AOC?
• Christiana Figueres, of the United Nations global warming agency, publicly admitted that the U.N. goal was not that of environmental activists to save the world from ecological calamity, but rather to destroy capitalism. Comment: Investor’s Business Daily reported on Figueres’ statement with an article bearing this headline – ‘U.N. Official Reveals Reason Behind Warming Scare.’
• John Holdren, Science Czar under President Obama – Headline from CNS News.com reads ‘White House Science Czar Says He Would Use Free Market to De-Develop the United States.’ Comment: Now you know where Figueres and Chakrabarti got their ideas about changing the economy from.
• Noel Brown, of the United Nations Environment Program, warned in 1989 of a 10-year window of opportunity to solve global warming or entire nations could be wiped off the face of Earth by the year 2000. Of course, it never happened. Comment: Now you know where AOC got her 12 year end-of-the-world scenario from.

 

The science of global warming

• Kate Marvel, a NASA climatologist, in an interview had this to say: “I’m not sure that climate change is an immediate threat to human existence.” Comment: Maybe, she better give AOC the “bad” news that we’re not going to all die in 12 years.
• Ben Sauter, a global warming advocate, wrote a paper which was published in Nature Geoscience in which he admitted that the computer models used in global warming studies to predict future climate change were way off.  Comment: Can you spell C-L-I-M-A-T-E-G-A-T-E?
• Nils-Axel Morner, did an interview with The New American entitled “UN IPCC Scientist Blows Whistle on Lies About Climate, Sea Level.” Comment: The IPCC’s own Dr. Madhav Khandekar also blew the whistle on the U.N.’s fake science, as I have reported in previous posts.
• After a series of studies, scientists in Finland found glaring errors in the IPCC’s research on global temperatures. They found that there was practically no man-made climate change. This has since been corroborated by researchers at Kobe University in Japan whose findings were published in Science Daily.
• A scientific study, based on NASA data, and published in Nature Climate Change reveals that rising carbon dioxide levels are having a tremendously positive impact on the re-greening of planet.  Comment: The life of the planet depends on high levels of CO2 and yet AOC wants to eliminate carbon dioxide! If we followed her advice, we probably would all die in 12 years.

 

Global warming in the courts

The Supreme Court of British Columbia (Canada) recently dismissed a lawsuit by climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann against climatologist Dr. Tim Ball. In its landmark ruling, the court found that there was no evidence to support Dr. Mann’s science for global warming. Comment: Of course, it was Mann’s research that was used by Al Gore in his famous “hockey stick” presentation. Try telling that to Al Gore now.

 

Epilogue

Referring to the Paris Climate Accord, Christiana Fuentes said, “This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model (capitalism) that has been reigning for at least 150 years since the Industrial Revolution.”

So, the real objective of the global warming initiative is to destroy Western Civilization’s economy (capitalism) by regulating carbon emissions. This is all to accomplish a very totalitarian form of population control (eugenics). To understand the underlying ideology just see the Georgia Guidestones or read John Holdren’s book “Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment” which he co-authored with Paul and Anne Ehrlich.

With respect to the United States, they want to introduce a socialist form of government which will lend itself to totalitarianism.  The Green New Deal is just the tip of the iceberg.  Here’s a flavor of what it would look like. No cars, no planes, no freedom of speech, no 2nd Amendment.  People would live almost exclusively in high-density population centers (for further reference you can read up on the U. N.’s Agenda 21). The country would have no borders and would, at some point, cease being a sovereign nation altogether.  The country would then be run by The United Nations which, in turn, would be controlled by the world’s elites.
