The Politics of Global Warming

 

People want to know: If there is no threat of global warming, why do they keep promoting it?  Fair question.

Well, first of all, there are trillions of dollars to be made off of selling carbon credits.  Thank you Al Gore. As they always say, follow the money.  Then there is power.  After all, what do the richest people in the world want…it’s power.  If you control the production of carbon, which is essential to all life-processes, you control all life.  Not just all governments you understand, but all life.  Remember the Georgia Guidestones.

The United Nations heads up the world-wide effort to promote global warming through the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change. As reported by Zero Hedge, Christiana Figueres, the then head of that U.N. global warming agency, said that the U.N. goal was not that of environmental activists to save the world from ecological calamity… but rather to destroy capitalism.

Why would capitalism be a threat and to who?  Well, the progress in Western Civilization since the Industrial Revolution was made largely possible by capitalism, a system which has the following features:

• Right of private property
• Free markets driven by the consumer (no government intervention)
• Profit incentives (entrepreneurship/innovation)
• Freedom of enterprise (choice of career)

Capitalism equates with freedom and individual rights, as you can clearly see from the list above.  So, exactly who would feel threatened by a capitalistic system?  Well, anyone who  wanted to rule the world. So, if you controlled all carbon emissions it would make it possible to destroy capitalism, thereby making it possible to rule the world (through socialism, fascism or communism).  You see, saving the world is an euphemism for ruling the world.  Just ask Christiana Figueres.

Surfing In The Snow Update

A brief update.

• February 22nd: Phoenix, Az smashes a 122 year-old cold record (by an incredible 7 degrees)

• February 24^th:  Saskatchewan – coldest February in 80 years

• Ice levels in the Arctic (North Pole) have actually increased since the beginning of 2019

An article in The New American says that,“The new NASA findings are in line with studies released by UC-San Diego and Northumbria University in Great Britain last year, both of which predict a Grand Solar Minimum in coming decades due to low sunspot activity. Both studies predicted sun activity similar to the Maunder Minimum of the mid-17th to early 18th centuries, which coincided to a time known as the Little Ice Age, during which temperatures were much lower than those of today.”

The Late, Great Human Race

I’m proposing that as a country we should all come together politically behind a New Green Deal. No, not the Green New Deal, but a New Green Deal.  This one isn’t a bunch of voodoo economics.  This is about real environmentalism.

By environmentalism, I’m not talking about saving some little minnow that I’ve never heard of but rather an important species here on this planet.  I’m talking about the human species.  It’s seriously endangered and hardly anyone is even talking about. We seem to be distracted by all of the manufactured news and the media caricatures inside The Beltway. It’s a real circus, national emergencies et al..

The real national emergency, however, concerns the life expectancy of the human race.  It’s seriously in jeopardy.  Here’s the problem. We have poisons in the air, in the water and in the food that we consume.  What’s more we are being negatively affected by ELF technology (e.g. microwaves and cellphones), high frequencies (HAARP) and vaccines which do far more damage than good.  Yet, the voices of the citizens seem to be mute.  Does anyone really care?

Bill Maher says that most Americans are dumb and uneducated. No doubt, there is some truth in what he says and maybe that’s part of the problem.  However, the bigger problem is that the elites would like to keep us all uninformed.  For example, you would never want to let the sheeple know that you’re trying to kill them off slowly.  The blowback just might be serious in that event.

As Bill Maher said, Americans are really dumb.  So, maybe we can just tell them that all these bad things are really good for them. Maybe, they won’t know that fluoride in the toothpaste doesn’t kill cavities, it kills people. I’ve got a long list of other things that we shouldn’t tell them about either.  Here’s a sampling:

• fluoride, in the water supply too
• barium and strontium in the air (thanks to chemtrails)
• aspartame (and other artificial sweeteners)
• prescription drugs (which are the fourth leading cause of death)
• pesticides (especially don’t tell them about Roundup)
• vaccines for kids which result in autism
• GMO foods (to mess with the DNA)

For good measure, let’s roll out a 5G cellphone network and microwave everyone.  Hallelujah!

However, we have to hope that Americans are too dumb to notice when we told the whole world that we’re going to try to kill them off.  I’m talking about the Georgia Guidestones, of course. But then, Americans probably aren’t even smart enough to know what the Georgia Guidestones are, right? So, let’s just have them watch another replay of Dr. Strangelove on the boob tube. Diet soda anyone?

Global Warming Debunked, Again

A brief update.

Many people today are referred to as “global warming deniers.” CNN interviewed John Coleman, the co-founder of the Weather Channel (see link) who said that denier is a term meant to keep him down.  Mr. Coleman says that he is opposes global warming and that the science is on his side. The interview is a hoot.

Following are a couple of other global warming deniers.  Apparently, it has become a big club:

• The New American recently ran an article of an interview it did with Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner entitled “UN IPCC Scientist Blows Whistle on Lies About Climate, Sea Level.”  Dr. Morner criticized those people using computer models to simulate future temperature rises as being wholly inaccurate. He says that sea levels will probably fall in the future.

By the way, as of February 23, 2019, we have gone 23 days with no sunspot activity.  Obviously, the sun is in a Grand Solar Minimum.  Therefore, more cold weather is dead ahead.

 

 

 

Surfing In The Snow

So it snowed here in Los Angeles on Thursday.  First time in almost 60 years. Yeah, the surfers rode the waves in Malibu with the powder coming down all around them.  What a Hang Ten! Snow on the beaches of Hawaii too, by the way.

It’s been a winter for the ages.  Before Christmas, the Washington Post reported that Thanksgiving 2018 will be remembered for a record-shattering cold snap across the Northeast.  Then Omaha, Nebraska cancelled their New Year’s festival because of record cold.  Since then, as many as 340 cold weather records were broken or tied just in the Midwest alone.  For example, Mount Carroll, Illinois dropped to minus 38 degrees and Cotton, Minnesota cratered at minus 56 degrees. Oh yeah, then there’s Seattle which is having its snowiest February in 70 years, with more on the way. Amy Klobuchar announced her candidacy for president the other day during a raging snowstorm, blaming it on global warming because the politicians think that you’re just stupid enough to believe that this is all due to global warming.

Around the world, much has been made about the loss of ice at the North Pole.  Conveniently, however, they forget to tell us that ice accumulation is increasing in Greenland and at the South Pole. Overall, an increase in ice world-wide. If we had global warming, it’s not suppose to be this way.  Ice should be melting and sea levels should be rising, but that’s just not the case.  The opposite is actually happening…because we’re headed to another ice age.  This cycle is what recurs over and over again. It gets hotter and then it gets colder and then it gets hotter again. It’s a scientific fact.

The sun is currently at a Grand Solar Minimum.  I dare any scientist to deny that.  Well, perhaps, I don’t have to as even NASA agrees with that.  You need to understand that sunspot activity drives climate change on Earth…and sunspot activity has not been lower in the last 100 years.  However, we are also about to be subjected to the planet flipping its magnetic poles.  This double whammy has resulted in an unprecedented loss of crops due to cold weather across the globe from Europe (especially Italy and Spain) to Canada whose grain crop has been completely buried under snow. Animals are being affected too as witnessed by the death of hundreds of thousands of cattle in Australia due to drought and flooding conditions and dolphins which are freezing to death in the waters off of Japan.

Buckle up, you’re getting just a taste of what the weather will be like over the next 15-20 years. Global warming will just have to wait its turn.

 

 

 

Survival of the Species

You hear a lot these days about the End Times or about the precarious condition of the survival of the human species on planet Earth. Well, they are both right, but they are also both wrong.  Here’s why.

The chances of intelligent life forming in the universe is beyond comprehension.  Scientists actually have done a calculation of the chances that a single protein could form by chance.  It’s astronomical. Beyond that, the chances of highly intelligent life forming – well, forget it, it ain’t happening (randomly at least).  Further, the universe requires an incredible balance of conditions to allow for life to arise. As Stephen Hawking has said, “The laws of science, as we know them at present, contain many fundamental numbers, like the size of the electric charge of the electron and the ratio of the masses of the proton and the electron. … The remarkable fact is that the values of these numbers seem to have been very finely adjusted to make possible the development of life.”

 It was cosmologist Max Tegmark who stated that everything in the universe, including humans, is part of a mathematical structure and physicist James Gates Jr. first pointed out that scientific theories which describe the fundamental nature of the universe contain embedded computer codes.  That’s right, as in 1s and 0s. So, Tegmark, Gates and Hawking agree that the universe has been fine-tuned. Gates goes one step further and says that it was programmed…and then there’s simulation theory which is one step beyond all of them.

One has to look no further than ice core and tree ring samples to realize that the earth goes through definitive cycles of weather and evolution.  Cycles, up and down, over and over again.  It confirms what the ancient texts of the Maya and the Hindus have said about what I would refer to as The Circle of Life. That is, civilizations have come and gone on this planet over the eons.

In what I would call modern history, we have lost the Denisovans, we have lost the Neanderthals and we have lost Cro-Magnon Man.  So, when we do we lose homo sapiens, then? Consider that almost all life from 15,000 years ago has been wiped out.  Evolutionary speaking, we are working with a clean slate.  However, an eruption of one super-volcano could ruin our whole day. The cycles of a planet are such that planetary changes will inevitably upset the precarious perch on which the human species exists.  Ultimately, of course, our sun will go super nova and that will be that.

All of this certainty amongst the chaos of nature and the repeated cycles of evolutionary change indicate the universe is programmed. Who did it and why, of course, is the great mystery that will probably be forever beyond our ability to grasp.  However, there are some things that we take away that may have application in our daily lives.  Here’s a few that come immediately to mind:

• Both evolutionary theory and religious dogma are wrong about the origins of life.
• This is not the End of Times, though our time as a species is limited as all cycles eventually end.
• Current phenomenon that some people are obsessed with are serious but do not signal the end of the species. For example, global warming periods will always lead to global cooling periods and then global cooling will lead back to global warming, and so on. These are natural cycles that man has very little to do with.
• The next serious world-wide weather condition will actually be a mini ice-age (by the 2030s). The River Thames in London will freeze over again as it has done numerous times before (anywhere from the 15^th to the 19th century).  Eventually, there will be another full-blown ice age no matter what we do.

While minor disasters could, and probably will, strike our planet from time to time, extinction of the human species is still a ways off. Like it or not, believe it or not, it’s been programmed that way.

The Real National Emergency

Oregon Democratic Representative Earl Blumenauer is set to introduce legislation to declare climate change a national emergency.  Welcome to the world of upside-down politics.  You see, only the President can declare a national emergency (and not Congress). Why? Only the President can declare a national emergency because Congress, itself, expressly granted that power to the President in the National Emergencies Act of 1976.

However, that’s only part of the story.  The real story is that there is a national emergency, and yes it’s caused by climate change.  However, no one is talking about it. The problem is that the weather is going south, and perhaps for a very long time.  That is, the sun is going asleep.  The scientific explanation is that there is little to no sunspot activity (the weakest in over 100 years) and this condition is called a Grand Solar Minimum. Almost everyone I know agrees that global warming is over and that the planet is going to go through a deep-freeze cycle that occurs cyclically (even NASA and The Weather Channel).  Well, pretty much everyone except Al Gore, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and Earl Blumenauer, that is.

The global warming hysteria is about to be turned on its head. No the world will not end in twelve years due to global warming (as stated by AOC in her Green New Deal).  Just the opposite, actually. We will need global warming and Co2 production (instead of carbon taxes) to help offset the cold weather, which by the way is already here as anyone who has been watching the news is well aware.

The implications for this deep-freeze are staggering. Reports are already coming in from around the world.  Crops are being adversely affected and this will only get worse in the years ahead. Food prices will go up and economies, world-wide, could well be devastated.  Wars are a logical outcome when people starve, not to mention mass migration. Don’t expect that the U.S. will necessarily be the #1 preferred destination, though.  Being in the Northern Hemisphere, the weather will severely affect everything that we do here.

Unless, of course, the poles flip, in which case all bets are off.

Presidential Politics Goes Off-Script

Don’t cross the Establishment.  Don’t you dare.  Heaven forbid if you go off-script.

Of course, I’m talking about the Democratic Party attacking their own.  It started with Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary and now…well, it’s blossomed into a full-scale assault on two of the darlings of the Democratic Party, Tulsi Gabbard and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). Their sin – not following the Establishment script.

Gabbard and AOC have come under severe criticism for two totally different reasons. Gabbard’s crime is that she doesn’t support endless wars. Here’s the anomaly. Historically, they have prosecuted people for war crimes and now, seemingly, they prosecute them for being against the war, itself. Strange how something like that works.

AOC’s case is totally different but also has a bizarre twist.  Her crime is in telling the American public the truth about the real Democratic political agenda (socialism).  So, AOC is not off-script in her political ideology, but is off-script for brazenly telling everyone about it. So, now the Establishment is on her case, everyone from Bill Gates to Morning Joe.

So, as we head into presidential candidate season, check the news for stories about who gets accepted or rejected by the Establishment.  Of course, Howard Schultz, a democrat, has already taken fire for considering running as an independent.  I doubt that he’ll be in it at the finish because he already has four strikes against him – being rich, not being a person of color, not being a woman and running as an independent which is viewed as helping Trump get reelected. What a strange list of qualifications that a person running for political office needs to have these days.  It’s all due to the political correctness of Establishment politics. Everyone needs to stick to the Script.

 

 

 

 

What’s The Emergency (Power)?

I published a post entitled Government By Emergency Powers about a month or so ago.  Now it seems like everyone is talking about it. What’s the emergency anyway?

So, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has announced that she would like to legislate that the President can no longer declare an emergency. Apparently, she thinks that she can just legislate against presidential actions.  What ever happened to separation of powers anyway?  I can only assume that AOC thinks that she is already the president or perhaps she just loves the spotlight or, perhaps, she just hasn’t heard that a high-ranking Democrat Adam Smith, chair of the House Armed Services Committee, has admitted that the President has the authority to declare a national emergency and have the military build a wall along the southern border.

Actually, Democratic Congressman Joaquin Castro had an interesting spin on the separation of powers issue.  He was quoted as saying, “…such a baseless declaration by President Trump would set a dangerous precedent regarding the constitutional balance of powers between the executive and legislative branches.”  The problem is that Congress already gave the president that power…and boy did they! After all, where were all the Democrats when then President Obama declared untold emergencies that didn’t exist. I guess that the Democrats don’t mind if one of their own declares a “baseless” emergency but heaven forbid if the opposition party does it.

In an article in Breibart, Liza Goitein of the Brennan Center for Justice, a progressive public policy institute, was quoted as saying that, “… President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency could allow him to take money from Americans’ bank accounts, shutter radio stations, and unleash biological agents.” The problem is that Trump doesn’t even have to issue such a declaration of national emergency because Barack Obama already has…and no one said a peep. Fancy that. Worse, the national emergencies are still in effect years later.  As the Washington Examiner reported, ”…few Americans realize they have lived under nearly 30 states of national emergency for most of their lives. Emergencies come and go, but emergency declarations remain. The oldest national emergency still on the books was declared by President Jimmy Carter during the Iran crisis 40 years ago.”

Let’s just cut the crap. This isn’t about whether or not the border wall constitutes a national emergency because according to a recent Gallup Poll 42 million people want to immigrate to the U.S. just from Latin America/Caribbean alone. Forty-two million, with their kids; over 100 million people in all. So, what’s the plan if there’s no wall – open borders?

It’s all about the politics folks.  Yes, the Republicans don’t represent their constituents any more than the Democrats do and, yes, the Republicans are just as corrupt. The biggest difference that I can see is that the Democrats are more irrational when it comes to supporting their political positions. How else can you explain Nancy Pelosi saying with a straight face that border walls are immoral although she supported border walls under Barack Obama and, of course, it’s okay for Nancy to have walls around her personal residence to keep the riffraff out.

Here’s the real emergency, politically speaking. Barack Obama envisioned the end of the U. S. A. Republic.  To that end, he declared a bunch of national emergencies whereby he gave the President, any president, dictatorial powers.  However, he planned for Hilary Clinton to inherit these powers, making her the Queen in effect. Problem was – she lost. Trump became President and he inherited the throne.  So, AOC wants to undo it all? Of course she does, after all who wants Donald Trump to be King? Perhaps, now, you can understand what the fuss is all about.

So, the Civil War rages on.

 

 

 

 

 

Questions About The Matrix

With respect to my recent posts The Matrix Dilemma and The Conscious Universe, you seem to have lots of doubts about the illusion that is the universe…and questions galore. Without addressing each and every question, let me add to your confusion with these tidbits:

We live in a matrix which is composed of information. It’s simply a bunch of 1s and Os.

For reference, you can check out the work of James Gates Jr. who has stated that scientific theories which describe the fundamental nature of the universe contain embedded computer codes.

The matrix is not independent of us, indeed its source is us.

For reference, you can check out the work of John Wheeler. Wheeler is famous for positing that, “The universe does not exist out there, independent of us. We are inescapably involved in bringing about that which appears to be happening. We are not only observers. We are participators.”  Also, Bernard d’Espagnat. It was d’Espagnat who said, “The doctrine that the world is made up of objects whose existence is independent of human consciousness turns out to be in conflict with quantum mechanics and with facts established by experiment.” Finally, Nima Arkani-Hamed. Arkani-Hamed said, “Spacetime is doomed.  There is no such thing as spacetime fundamentally in the actual underlying description of the laws of physics.  That’s very startling because what physics is supposed to be about is describing things as they happen in space and time.  So, if there’s no spacetime, it’s not clear what physics is about.”

To paraphrase an old saying: If a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound? The answer is no. The tree doesn’t fall (or make a sound) until we observe it.  Observation is everything. Even Einstein struggled with the concept asking, “…does that mean the moon is not there when I am not looking at it?”

Bottom line: It’s all about consciousness. Space and time, as Arkani-Hamed said are not fundamental to the universe.  Rather, there is no space and time, no moon (for Einstein) and no universe at all, until we create them.
